Everyone enjoying their meal at Stoneridge Inn
For many of our Gala events, in addition to our live and silent Auctions, we hold a fundraising event for a specific local charity. At this year's Christmas Gala the chosen charity was SALTHAVEN WILDLIFE REHABILITATION AND EDUCATION CENTRE. Brian Salt, the founder, shared insights in how the rehabilitation centre operates. This year's event prize was a beautiful handcrafted gold and diamond necklace by Simoun Naifeh, owner of Bella Jewelry. He described the piece in detail, and then was asked to draw the successful number. Gloria Rolfe was the lucky winner. Thank you to Bella Jewelry for the necklace and to all the donors for the live and silent auction items. Also thank you to all the Rotarians that made this event possible.
